There are three basic levels of fund-raising consulting services offered by Cummings Co. however, we recognize that each nonprofit is different and many times we create levels of service tailored for unique circumstances:

Campaign Resident Management- is appropriate when an organization has a significant realistic multi-year potential, does not have experienced capital campaign staff available, cannot reallocate staff without disrupting or dissipating current fund-raising activities, and the campaign must be initiated expeditiously. For this level of comprehensive service, the responsibility of Cummings Co. expands from strategic counsel to accountability for coordination and facilitation of the campaign on a daily basis.

Campaign Management Direction-is effective when a nonprofit requires counsel and some implementation assistance for its campaign, without utilizing our full-time residential services.

Periodic Counsel- is most beneficial when the nonprofit employs experienced, professional in-house staff who will implement the major fund raising effort. Periodic counsel serves in an advisory capacity by providing outside objectivity, strategic planning and generally serving as a sounding board for the nonprofit’s campaign.
